Delo Silver Multigrade is a high performance, heavy duty, mixed fleet, shear stable, SAE 15W-40 automotive engine oil designed for a wide range of diesel and petrol engines requiring API CG-4, CF or SJ performance.
Mixed fleets containing both light and heavy duty, four cycle diesel and petrol engines.
A wide range of Japanese and pre 1999 US and European diesel engines, both naturally aspirated and turbocharged, in all service conditions.
Applications include long distance diesel trucking, off highway and earthmoving operations, stationary plant, agricultural tractors and farm machinery.
Many current model passenger car light commercial and truck petrol engines operating in all service conditions.
Generator sets.
High speed diesel engines in marine service.
Not recommended for use in any two cycle diesel engines or two cycle petrol engines.
Can be used in non engine applications where engine oils of its performance level and viscosity grade are suitable, such as powershift transmissions and mobile hydraulic systems.

Specially balanced metallic detergent and ashless dispersant additive system provides excellent overall engine cleanliness in all service conditions, particularly the higher soot dispersancy required to maintain oil drain intervals in modern engine designs. Excellent oxidation stability protects against the formation of gums and varnish at elevated temperatures.
Prolongs engine life:
Proven metallo-organic antiwear additive system provides excellent protection against wear of critically loaded components under all operating conditions. Multigrade viscosity provides additional protection against wear at start-up and under high temperature operating conditions.
Preserves full power and performance:
Metallic detergent and ashless dispersant additive system preserves full power and performance by providing excellent upper ring belt deposit control under the high temperatures encountered in turbocharged diesel engines.
Saves on inventory costs:
Mid-ash, higher dispersancy formulation provides excellent overall performance in mixed fleets of different engine designs, allowing fewer oils to be stored and reducing the chance of problems arising through product misapplication.
